Hello guys,

Looking for advise as I want to buy the new MacBook Pro 13 inch w Touch Bar. However, I heard although they improved the new keyboard it still have issues. Anybody facing the keyboard issue?

Yes, the new 2018 models still have this issue. Although it may take a few months before it shows up. Recommendation is to buy a keyboard cover. The butterfly mechanism is too delicate, even with the membrane fix.

Don’t close the laptop with keyboard cover on, it will spoil the Retina display as stated on the Apple website.

I didn't know that. I always just close it. And I have a glass screen protector for my Mac. I think that makes it worse?

Having more RAM allows you to have more applications open without impacting system performance. The SSD also helps with system cache and swap files.

While it depends on what you intend to do with your Mac, having at least 16GB will ensure it stays viable because system resource requirements are increasing all the time.

Take any current Mac, reboot it before launching Activity Monitor. Take a look at the amount of memory used by the system before any applications are launched. You'll realize 16GB has become the new "8GB requirement" just years ago.
