So many lines also no use in controlling desire to buy car, in fact, so many stations stop here and there when own car is no stopping between point A and B

Car not immune to traffic jams and traffic lights. Then also need to find parking.
What LTA has failed miserably is making public transport transfers fast and comfortable. See places like outram park, dhoby ghaut and bugis. Transfer train need to walk very big and go via multiple escalators and travelators. Then sometimes will have some kumgong try to push wheelchair up the travelator, and end up cause human traffic jam.

Better than I go Japan one. I need to get out of the station and cross the street to transfer.

Can they revamp the Jurong East line or not? It's overcrowded.
