Not meant to bash this thread or anything, my own experience is that I’ve not had any graphics cards fail on me yet. Mainly hard disks and RAM.

And btw I recognize ur nick from at least 2005 or so hahaha when I built my pentium D, before core 2 duo.

My GTX670 gave up... a few days after the warranty ended. lol. Bring back to corbell also no use.

Warranty worth it or not, let the consumer decide

Some may prefer warranty, some may want to skip wty for price.
Just don't kpkb disty don't help or charge for non local stocks....

$100 difference which is 1/7 of the cost is not that much to pay for local warranty. But it is more than enough to pay for 1x 2 way shipping, which evens out the warranty issue.

But with coupons you can get local sets with local warranty that may be cheaper than amazon sets.

The PCB is HUGE.....
May not fit some ITX cases..

I guess they don’t make things as hardy as in the old days.

Don’t get me wrong, if I were to get a card today. Most likely I will get one with local warranty. Anything that is exposed to high thermals, anything that contains capacitors, better get proper warranty.

If the diff is < S$100. I will go for local stocks. If i can apply lazada coupon or similar that is even better. Must compare and see. Not everything amazon is cheaper. People go amazon only see the big price, never bother to look at the sentence behind the price.
