New Music App on iOS

Very lost with this new music app. There isn't a tab to look at all your songs anymore? When I go to "Artist" - it separates into album, but doesn't list all the songs in one page. Any one has any idea? Thanks.

Tap on the "Artists" text and you can select to view by Albums, Artists, Songs, Genres etc.

now my songs(offline ones) got stopped if i were to have no network..

rather concerned if even listening to my own songs will use data anot now..

I don't see any artist text or tab. The new music App doesn't have an artist tab. It's "my music" and under that, all artists are listed. Then after that, albums. Click on each album to songs sorted by album.

There is a chance the interface may vary for some reasons, but from what I can see on my screen, on My Music tab, there is a "Recently Added" section, followed by a section listing all your songs. For some people, the list is probably sorted by Artists - so tap on the section heading that says "Artists v" (with a downward arrow) to sort the list by artists, albums, songs, genres, or composers. You can also choose to show/hide iTunes purchases from here.

Sigh.. now launching this new Music app in iOS 8.4 seems to take forever, with it trying to get onto the internet and loading don't know what in the beginning before it decided to show all my offline, locally synced music. Listen to my own music also so gang koh..

When you play your music when in locked screen, it doesnt show the album e.g 14/19..

U can "switch it off" under settings > music> apple music

Checked with Apple. They said new music app does not list all songs the way it used to anymore. It's all predictive or you have to search for the specific song. You method does work for listing all the songs. But can't list all the songs under one artist, coz it divides after that to album. Unless someone has another method?

One workaround for listing all songs by an artist is to create a playlist and add all songs from an artist to it. Really counter-intuitive, actually. But oh well, Apple wants to do things really differently to tie Apple Music and Beat 1 into everything, sigh..
