new parts for old rig

hi all, my old rig is 6years old now hence its getting abit slow.
if i were to change minimally what would it be? It's running on

Win Vista 64 bit(if im not wrong)
4gb ram
300gb hdd
6 years old nvidia gpu

the rig is intended for mapling and surfing the web only.

add a ssd. my laptop about 4 years old now i just throw another ssd. it really speeds up loading of applications

You could get a budget mobo+cpu combo and add on 4 or 8gb rams,
reuse all your old stuffs, and your win vista.
