New PC build, Need advice

Dear all, i am about to build a new gaming rig. Here are my specs
Budget: 1.6k

CPU: I7-9700k
CPU cooler: corsair H100i
Mobo: Gigabyte Z390M gaming
Storage: Samsung 860Evo 250Gb
Ram:Corsair Vengenance LPX 3000mhz 2x8Gb
PSU: Seasonic FP FX-650W
Case: Fractal Design Define Mini C

This is a purely gaming build. i am using a 1440p monitor and alrdy have a GTX 1070. Currently i'm considering between 9700k or 8700k and Define Mini C or Meshify C.
i am open to suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Downgrade to a cheaper CPU (i5 or Ryzen) and spend the money on a better GPU. You can sell your 1070 for about 300. 1070 1440p gaming is barely scraping it. You can get a used 1080/Ti with warranty left for peace of mind

thanks! i nvr thought about buying used parts before. as for cpu i will stick to intel, maybe a 9600k?
