Hi all, could you please recommend me a pc build with igpu? I don't intend to over clock it. My budget is 1-1.5k.

I do game but I'll buy a graphics card in future when the prices come down.

I do have an old nvidia 970 card. Can it be used on a new mobo?

Thanks in advance.

a 12400 non f/5600g system should be suitable. if u still want to do a bit of light gaming without a dgpu, the ryzen build would be better, otherwise the i5 would be a better long term investment, even if it is more expensive. and yes a 970 should be useable on any modern motherboard.

gtx 970 still quite good. faster than gtx 1650, slower than rtx 3050

try to get 5600x is about 300 on amazon. or 12600kf is 430. cheaper than 5800x at 530

As nightraven49 has mentioned, it's best to get the 12400 because of the strong IPC and use it with your 970 first. Just ensure that the dimensions of the GPU will fit in your new chassis.
