New PC suggestions needed pls.

Hi guys, I know there are countless these kind of thread around but hope that I can get some assistance.

My PC has just gone down, and I need to get another one up and running, but being out of the IT world for quite awhile, I hope people can drop me some suggestions on what to get.

So what I do are mainly web surfing, watching videos, and playing some games occasionally.

I have many internal HDD, so I need a Mobo with many sata slots.
Mid range gfx card should be enough for me.
I have windows already so don't need that.

Ain't really setting a budget for the purchase, but looking for 'value for money' instead, i.e balance between power and cost.

But just as a reference point, a budget of 1.3k?

i would like to ask asus gtx 970 needed 8pin power, how if i plug in a 6pin power. will it work?

No wont work. But i think the GPU comes with 6-8 pin adapter. Can use on the six pin PSU cable.
