Hi guys,

I currently own a superflower PSU 600w hx series and also Gigabyte r9 280x OC

I've gotten it from tradepac about 2months ago and I suspect it's faulty.
Because if I game with the stock clock. I would get a BSOD and it doesn't even create a dump file, just blue screen which is distorted.

Even if I underclock my gpu, I would crash with a black screen and I would encountered GPU driver issues and some hardware issues.
Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
Application chrome.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.
Application dota.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.
etc

So, I would like to know what is the problem and how to solve it.

Specs are as followed:
MSI Z87m G43
i5-4670k
Kingston HyperX Genesis 2x4gb 1600mhz
WD 1tb HDD
Plextor M5P 128gb
Gigabyte R9 280X OC 3gb
Superflower HX600 600W Golden Green 80+ Gold

Tried clean install for windows and gpu drivers.
Tried memtest for rams. No problems.

Lastly, am I able to rma my psu or upgrade it from tradepac? Like getting a better brand or something.

Advice are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Use MSI flash bios program on the Bios. go download the latest bios for your mbo at MSI website
there got step by step

next, update the drivers for your GPU.

do a memtest and check that your Rams r OK

If all cannot, then your card could be bad.

Thanks for your help!

However, I tried dumping my files into the usb and updating but it said it wasn't msi's bios and therefore I couldn't update.

But, I'm currently using liveupdate provided by msi to download all the drivers that I need.

Will test them out tomorrow or so and see if problem still occurs.

Edit: think I need to make sure my usb is bootable, being getting into a lot of issues.
