New rig <1600 budget

Hi all,

Making a new rig. Rig mainly used for microscopy image processing with specialized vendor software from Zeiss together with ImageJ. Vendor informed that it is CPU and RAM intensive. Will also be used for R, Matlab, SPSS, GraphPad and the occasional Lightroom and video transcoding. Normal daily tasks like word processing etc. No gaming.

Please advise the following specs:

Have no need for keyboard or mouse or monitor. Reusing a spare 1TB WD Black hdisk.

Possible to use iGP with the 4670? Or is it necessary to get a discreet GPU? I have a spare 5770 though.

If it is cpu intensive just go for a i7 with a b85 board. Dont need a h87. H87 is for people whom needs to do Raid connections for multiple hdd.

Judging from the softwares used, it is better to get an i7 over the i5.

Gpu just reuse the 5770.
