New rig, advice needed.

HI experts. First time diy, need some advice.
Going to build a new rig real soon but not sure which parts to get.
After going through some threads, i have decided on

- i5 6400 + msi bazooka
- Seasonic S12G-750
- Avexir DDR4 2x4GB white led
- WD blue 1tb
- SSD (bought)
- OS from reddit

Sapphire r9 390 or 380x? or just get 970?
Recommend me a casing please (R5? MasterCase 5? CM n600, n500? or?)

*using 23" monitor (3 years old) currently, unless it went dead on me then i would buy a 27"
*budget: 1.2-1.3k
*games: BF4, GTA V, dota2, cs etc
*do not need monitor, kbm etc
*i hope to buy most items from lazada if not i will head down to pcthemes

pcthemes has an r9 290 turboduo for $389 right now. performance is sinilar to gtx 970 but all 4 gb of ram is usuable and r9 390 just a rebrand with extra 4gb which for 1080p and probably 1440p won't be needed, so can consider this. ram don't need to be in dual channel, 1 stick of 8gb would be cheaper and free up 1 more slot for the future. case up to you, i like enermax fulmo-q, deepcool tesseract and the fractal design cases, but i not sure about your perferences so yeah.
