New Rig build for 1070

Hi guys,

Just want to have see if you all have any opinion on the stuff i have chosen for my new house coming month.

Mostly for playing games like CS, Witcher 2/3, Rocket league, civ 5 and future games / watch movies & TV series. Would like to have at least mid-to-high resolution for the next 5 years at least.

My Budget excluding monitor/kb/mouse/speaker : 1.8k - 2k

Don't intend to OC as i dunno nuts about it.

MB + CPU : MSI H170 Gaming M3 + i5 6500 - $500 PCT

HDD : WD Black 7200rpm (5Yrs - 1tb : $110 OR 2tb: $182 PCT

SSD: zotac-240gb-25-premium-ssd-phison-s10-toshiba : 109 (Lazada)

RAM : Corsair Vengeance LPX 2133MHz CL13 2x8gb: 109 PCT

GPU : Zotac GTX 1070 AMP! Edition 8GB GDDR5
OR
MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G GDDR5 ? ( I read both reviews but still not sure which to get. MSI one seems to have bigger fans from what I see but is it necessary? need advice on this please. ) t258jgn, Promo bundle with Monitor

Oh haha, no la. The monitor itself already 800+, so I never add it in. Actually just want to know which GPU to get in this case if everything else looks good. Zotac or MSI ? Lol. Both price from the promo bundle is about 700+ but the differences is MSI cost around 100 bucks more. Could the price differences due to the brand?

Well MSI is better though, but if u want better oc Zotac seems ok. But Zotac only do nvidia and that's why they can go abit cheap.

as for casing if u want a psu cover den get phanteks if want slient can go for r5.

think the cooler on the MSI GPU performs slightly better than the Zotac one. But other than that, the cards are very similar in performance.

That being said, the 1070 runs quite coolly, so the zotac AMP will perform fine if you don't intend to oc the gpu.

the psu and case you might as well get from t258jgn, since you going to get some stuff from him anyway.

his price seem really competitive too
