New rig can't boot (Mobo/ cpu problem?)

if take out of casing & on mb box, it still powers on just using psu switch
and ram in the correct slots
wonder if its psu...

Make sure your rams are in the correct boot slot.
(dimms 2/4 or A2/B2)
Boot up, then flash bios.
Everything solved.

As seen here A2/B2 are the faster slots. Likely better chance of posting. Think some vendors also include these mention in the starters guide.

Yup I using those slots as advice by asrock. Tonight go home then try again.

That's why it's highly recommended to try power up your mobo + cpu + ram before installing into case. Save your effort.

Remember to clear the CMOS beforehand.
Use a single stick and boot on A2.

Fml. I changed board., managed to boot up once, entered the bios.

Shut down then went to do the cable management and plug in all the storage disks. Now cannot again! Zz
