i wonder if u can see any bios screen? if no den most probably ur mb, ram, gpu. if can access most probably is ur ssd hav issues.

maybe u can try onboard gpu to see?

anyway, u self build or shop build for u?

processor rarely have issue. If all the connector attach to motherboard is attach properly and still have fail to see the bios boot up menu. And is the fan of the processor running? Try to remove your ram and put it back again. Normally there is a beep sound and it will boot, otherwise ....

Then better go back to the shop and ask them to troubleshoot for u.

Self assembled. I test it out of casing,just put on top of the motherboard box to test.

Even without hooking up to display, I thought the CPU fan should be running with just PSU+mb+cpu. But in my case when I turn on the power button, the CPU fan and PSU fan just spin a few seconds then auto off le.

When I press the power button again , the same thing happen

Once power on with just mb, cpu, psu, your fans should continue spinning at least. If cannot get past that stage, no need look further.

symptom RAM kaput. Try rubbing with the eraser on RAM gold plated inserts (pins) and try again

may be the PSU got issue, try to plug any case fan to the PSU to see if the fan is spinning, can use a paperclip to test the PSU

I done the paperclip test too by shorting the green wire with a black wire on the 24 pin. The PSU can work.

just lug back to the shop that your get your m/b n cpu comb then ask them to test

did you have thermal paste on your cpu? also, try to clear cmos see if it helps..

as other members have mentioned, i have also experienced some problems recently building my rig. Some of the things i can remember as follows:

1. put thermal paste, very impt
2. ensure cpu fan is inserted into mobo CPUFAN1 CPUFAN2 slots (SYSFAN slots are different)
3. ensure mobo 24pin power is inserted
4. ensure cpu 6pin/8pin is inserted
5. ensure PSU is powered on
6. ensure that RAMs are inserted

I cleaned CPU and heat sink with isopropyl alcohol and then reapply with artic silver 5 ,test with PSU+mb+CPU+heatsinkfan+ ram .
24 pin power and 8 pin CPU power and CPU fan connected.

No improvement
