Trunking not ex lah. About $2-$3.5 for a stretch of 2m IIRC.

Is the time you take that might need to cut etc.

Ohh I just assumed it would be pretty expensive cos it sounds so high-tech. Btw, I think the ZOTAC GTX 970 4GB TWIN FAN is out of stock on Lazada. Do you think I should wait for it to restock or should I just go with another brand like Asus or Palit? Don't mind pumping some extra cash if they perform better. I think I still can get 10% discounts on Mondays because I have a mastercard.

But my router is in the living room, which is about 10m from my room. You mean I should connect a cable from the living room to my room? But that's not really practical D:
If there's no obstruction in the way between your router in living room and PC in your room other than walls, you should go ahead in routing a LAN cable there. For me i already saved roughly $50-100 from getting a pair of powerline plugs by drilling a hole on the wall to route LAN cable to my main home PC. My parents were very supportive of that.

Use powerline, if you are willing to burn more of your pocket. :s13:

Yeah this still cost much less than a full-fledged router with so many unnecessary features as a client.

Since you can wait the you should gamble on it, no tradeoff in any manner.

heheh I guess I'll wait then. Building the rig in a few week's time, no rush. Once again thanks for all your help, appreciate it so much! Couldn't have come to a final decision without the help from you guys! :D
