Trunking not ex lah. About $2-$3.5 for a stretch of 2m IIRC.
Is the time you take that might need to cut etc.
If there's no obstruction in the way between your router in living room and PC in your room other than walls, you should go ahead in routing a LAN cable there. For me i already saved roughly $50-100 from getting a pair of powerline plugs by drilling a hole on the wall to route LAN cable to my main home PC. My parents were very supportive of that. But my router is in the living room, which is about 10m from my room. You mean I should connect a cable from the living room to my room? But that's not really practical D:
Use powerline, if you are willing to burn more of your pocket.![]()
They were introduced to the masses here in SG by Singtel with Aztech powerline plug @ $5/mth IIRC many years back.woah didn't such things existed! thanks!![]()

Yeah this still cost much less than a full-fledged router with so many unnecessary features as a client.
Wow I'm so glad there are so many people like you helping tech newbs like me! Big thanks to Moneyface and frosty and shadow and everyone else!
I'm still a little confused about the GPU though, can you help me with my earlier question please? (post #22) Thanks!![]()
Since you can wait the you should gamble on it, no tradeoff in any manner.Ohh I just assumed it would be pretty expensive cos it sounds so high-tech. Btw, I think the ZOTAC GTX 970 4GB TWIN FAN is out of stock on Lazada. Do you think I should wait for it to restock or should I just go with another brand like Asus or Palit? Don't mind pumping some extra cash if they perform better. I think I still can get 10% discounts on Mondays because I have a mastercard.

If u can wait, den wait till mon. If by then no stock, den try for palit bah.
they all performs similarly across all brands, but if u can wait just wait for it to restock at lazada to save the money, if you cannot then just hoot lo. As the saying goes, Hoot now talk later!
