New Rig help!!

Sup guys! im looking to get a new rig with a buget of about 1.5k excluding screen, keyboard,speakers. its mainly to play Sc2 and dota2 and watch videos etc. nothing special! hope you guys can help, your replies are greatly appreciated

Stay firm with your decision and don't be swayed to upgrade to higher end components by their sales assistants unless the items you want are OOS in SLS. Be there to see them assemble your rig and make sure they return all chassis spare parts.

Thank you so much for your reply will it still be able to run max graphics on 1680 screen? Cause the screen I use right now is 1680! I don't mind paying a little more since I will still have quite alot of budget left thank you!

Yes it will. If you want to maximise your budget, you can a better casing (NZXT Phantom 410 @ ~$155) and higher efficiency PSU (FSP Platinum 550W @ $125) and better gpu (Powercolor 7870 Myst @ $311).

last time i went Tradepac to assemble they told me they had many PC to assemble and need to wait 3-4 hours. Not sure if you can tahan to actually stay there for that long (the music they play there is too unique for my liking )

why not get the 7970 instead? since he got so much budget left? or a GTX 670?

Depends whether TS wants to spend so much on a gpu that's way overkill for his usage.
