They stated 3 year warranty is it for local or manufacture side if let say they GPU is faulty can i do 1 to 1 exchange with retailer ?

Retailer. You bought from q0010? So send it back to them.

Btw, why do you want to spend over $500 for a GTX970 with only 3.5GB?

3 years local warranty with distro. not the shop.

ASUS Nvidia cards please look for Ban Leong.

Awwwww I think need to change to MSI 970!:s13:
Thanks for the info

Since you don't have any adaptive sync monitor from either the red or green team, I would suggest to get R9 390 if cannot get past that memory issue on the GTX 970.

read some reading about 970 some say will not affect performance because most of the game do not hit 3.5 gb
looking some option maybe
MSI R9 390 - 569 at SLS
Sapphire Nitro R9 390 TRI - X - 549 at SLS
ASUS STRIX R9 390 - 599 :eek::eek:
GIGABYTE R9 390 G1 -555
Powercolor r9 390 -509 - CHEAPEST !! Bur never heard the brand before :s13:

Any recommendation ??

powercolor is pretty good for radeon cards. can read their reviews on amazon. alot recommending powercolor or sapphire for r9 390. don't get asus for 390 because tia kong they just slap on the nvidia strix cooler

Wa liao senior member don't like that laaaa
just their recommand supply voltage maaaa

Don't give me attitude laaaa~
All of us recommend 600-650w psu when we recommend an r9 390/290, no complaints so far. Bean running an r9 290 with a 530w psu, and so far seems to work fine. Luke from linustechtips also ran an r9 290 with a 500w psu in scrapyard wars and nothing happened. 290 is the 390 before rebadge.

reduced bandwidth and not available at all is two different story, dont anyhowly say inaccurate stuff

you can use it, but the performance is gonna tank-enough to become unplayable sometimes. might as well disable it instead

I've been an amd card supporter for a long while, I'm waiting and hoping that the r9 390 price drop happens sooner rather then later. still on a sapphire hd7950 for now. i can still play my games with decent frame rates, for now.

but i have to say the EVGA cards looks superb!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Distributor is more important than brand. Get powercolor (BanLeong, same as Asus). or Sapphire (make sure its Convergent).

is there a significant difference between BL and Convergent? like "ease of RMA"? I've had several sapphire cards, but haven't been on any powercolor.
