Hi all,

Building new PC, probably this or next month. Might wait for next gen GPU to release.

Question, will a GPU of equivalent GTX 970 be able to power DOTA 2, at 1440P Resolution and peak its fps using a 144Hz+ GSync monitor? Talking about max settings. Wish to hit a stable 160+ FPS.

Going for Enthoo Evolv ATX + i5 + 500g ssd + 2tb hdd + 16g ram.

1440P GTX970 Playing Dota, barely hit 120fps most of the time, many times going below 100. Video is many months old though, Reborn may have updated for better now.

Anyone with any experience? Not sure If i should drop more money on GPU.

Cap at around 2.5-2.7k for the rig, excluding monitor.
Very much hoping to spend lesser though, if possible.

Just hope to max out dota2 with a 1440 160hz monitor.

I can hit 130-140fps with 1440p. Must go console and set max FPS though. Default is set at 120.
