Hereby I would like to seek opinion from Gurus on the possibility of getting a new rig with the following usage requirement at the min budget (~ 2k).

Usage:
01) Video Editing (16GB Ram, need those high speed ram??)
02) Photo Editing
03) Gaming (should be getting R9 280X GPU)
04) Overclocking in the near future (Air or Liquid Cooler?)

06) Exclude: Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Speaker

H100i and H110

This 2 are the only long radiator cooler from Corsair.

H100i is a 240mm radiator. It can be run as plug and play or controlled by using the Corsair Link to monitor all the pump and fan status.

H110 is a 280mm radiator. It can be only run as plug and play. No software to be used.

So its up to you. They are both equal in terms of cooling performance.

Noctua N14 is a Heatsink Air Cooler. It is said to be a kick a$$ air cooler. But it is really huge. Require to look at your chassis that you gonna buy and see whether got clearance.

If you are gonna use the Genie OC features that pre configured to be OC at 4ghz then you do not need till H100i or H110.

If you are going somewhere higher like 4.5ghz and above then yes you need a better cooler.
