My power supply just died today =( so thinking of getting a set as my others parts are also getting old. Need some advice.

Cpu + mobo : an i5?(dunno what to get)
SSD : 250GB
HD: reusing my 3 HDD
Power supply :750w
Graphic card : 980gtx ti/970
Ram:2x8gb
Casing using my old cm storm

5 years. Previously using i5 2500k,gtx560ti

No need to upgrade lah you.
Upgrade liao also won't see much performance difference.
Just go buy a new superflower PSU lah.
Gpu tong a few more months for polaris pascar.

You might hold off Till then next gen GPU card come out. Meanwhile a good CPU+mobo would be Core i5 6500 + Fatal1ty H170 motherboard.

If you'r not in a rush you can even wait till next yr for ZEN CPUs from AMD, that might be something interesting.
