I nid cpu+mobo+ram opinions.

these i allready obtained.
Case: Fractal Design S
gpu: zotac 1070
PSU: EVGA 750W G2
SSD: samsung 500gb
hdd:WD 1 TB


should i go for i5 6500? or go for i7 6700k?

got abt 700 budget. willing to buy from amazon.

gaming on 144hz 1080p. Future proof for next 5 yrs or even more.

i5 6500 good enough. Have to see what games type of games you play also. GPU is the one that affects your gaming performance mostly when you gaming.

do u intend to SLI or install any add-on card like PCIE wifi or SSD etc?

if u intend to OC. i dun think with i7 6700k + a z170 mobo + 2 rams + a cooler u can get it within 700. even with i5 6600k also quite tight...

den again if u dun intend to OC can get i5 6500 or 6600. and go with a b150 board.

what games are u playing? required that high cpu power?

i think extremely impossible to get within 700. especially with the stupid ram prices now. but i think he shld go for a z mobo + i5 6600k since he wants to future proof it. as for ram... that one tough man. sure break 700 for sure. i am expecting at least 800 for everything? if he so insistent.

ya really after i checked and tally even with everything discount from qoo10.

he will still need an est amt of 1k least to get the parts i put in.

unless this coming BF on qoo10 is similar or more discount than 11/11 den maybe can get below 1k but still will be above 800

sidetrack abit but ts, i dun find sli to be very enticing. it's still not that stable and there are games that have problems using sli still. that is sli's biggest problem.

dont bother planning for SLI

in 2 years times, it will likely be better to buy a new card than to sli 2 old cards.

i will say dont skim on your CPU because that can potentially last over 2 gpu upgrade cycles.

since u have the model name just Google it out to check on the details

so far I think only Asus. MSI artic board not sure if there is any z170 or not.
