if apple to apple comparison, this version of 神鵰俠侶 has better special effect on the skill compare to the current LOCH. And I also prefer Zhou Botong from 神鵰俠侶 than LOCH....u can see the different is pretty huge

The reason why LOCH is so popular compared to ROCH and HSDS is simply because of HR. Her mischievous pranks, funny antics, silly banter with HQG/little imp, blur about sexual stuffs made the whole LOCH so fun to watch.

ROCH is nice to watch only because of YG's encounters with numerous beauties.

撒马耳干守军终於用完了他们最後一件秘密武器，再也无计可施了，只能被动地等着挨打。眼见坚守城池的希望十分渺茫，撒马耳干城中的守军和平民都陷入了极度的恐慌之中，他们知道，蒙古人攻进城内後必将把他们斩杀殆尽。

随後，蒙古军又经过连续两天箭石齐飞的攻城，终於打垮了撒马耳干人的最後一道心理防线。於是在成吉思汗率军攻打撒马耳干後的第五天早晨，撒马耳干城内一些信仰伊斯兰教的首领突然来见成吉思汗，很快他们就与成吉思汗达成了以出卖撒马耳干为代价求得不杀的交易。当天晚上，这些首领便打开了撒马耳干城的北门，放蒙古军队进城。

但是，以阿勒巴儿汗为首的一部分勇士誓死不肯投降，他们乘着夜色朦胧，拼死突出了重围，去寻找逃亡的苏丹。第二天，蒙古军开始对撒马耳干城进行疯狂的掠夺，并将俘虏的士兵按十人或百人编成队，全部驱赶到城外。为了防备他们反抗，蒙古军装作非常友善，但就在当天夜里，便把他们全部杀死。被俘的花剌子模大臣秃孩汗、巴力失马思汗、撒儿昔里汗等20多人也全部被处死。

消灭了敌军後，蒙古军又将剩余的当地百姓进行了处理：3万工匠被挑选出来作为奴隶分配给诸王、大臣和将领，另外还有数万青壮年被编为“哈沙儿”队去帮蒙古军队攻打其他城市，剩下的人在被要求交出20万的那（即第纳尔，中亚地区的一种货币）的钜额赎金後得到了大汗“仁慈”的宽恕。

拥有坚固的城防和11万精锐之师保卫的历史名城撒马耳干，仅坚持了5天就被蒙古人攻破，这似乎又一次证明了蒙古铁骑不可战胜的神话。而撒马耳干也遭到了毁灭性的破坏，昔日繁华的都市变成了一片废墟。大战後的1221年，据当时的人们记述：“当苏丹没有失败时，城中人口十多万户，国破以来，存者不过四分之一。”其苍凉景象正如耶律楚材後来的诗中所言；“寂寞河中府（河中府即撒马耳干），声名昔日闻。城隍连畎亩，市井半丘坟。”

千里追杀

摩诃末虽然对守住撒马耳乾没有信心，但是当他听到撒马耳干5天就失守的消息後，还是大感意外。眼看大势已去，他不得不作下一步的打算，於是便招来众将商议。

众将议论纷纷，意见主要分为两派：一派认为应该退守伊拉克；另一派认为应该逃往印度。而太子札兰丁却另有想法，他认为与其四处逃避，还不如与成吉思汗决一死战。然而已完全丧失了抵抗意志的摩诃末此时发出了哀叹：花剌子模遭受灾难是天意如此，非人力所能挽回。於是，摩诃末带着残兵败将逃到了你沙不儿（今伊朗东北部内沙布尔）。摩诃末在你沙不儿驻紮了三个星期，他每日纵酒狂欢以转移亡国之痛。但是好景不长，很快哲别与速不台就率蒙古军追到了这里。

摩诃末闻讯後，急忙丢弃你沙不儿，继续逃奔到可疾云（今伊朗首都德黑兰西北加兹温）。在那里他整顿军马，并召集了3万伊拉克军队准备死守。但是这些临时徵集来的乌合之众，在蒙古军队还未到来之前便逃跑了一半。於是，摩诃末便又开始了失魂落魄的逃亡之旅。而哲别和速不台就像一帖膏药一样，死死地黏住摩诃末不放。摩诃末逃到哪，他们就如影随形地追到哪。他们的目标只有一个，那就是要将摩诃末等人赶尽杀绝。

一位名叫忽滩的钦察可汗，他的女儿嫁给了加里奇的罗斯王公密赤思腊。忽滩派人向密赤思腊求援，并说：今天蒙古人扫荡了我们的土地，明天就该轮到你们遭殃了。於是密赤思腊分别致信给翰罗斯各公国，说如果他们坐视钦察亡国而不顾，翰罗斯将终无宁日。与钦察相邻的翰罗斯南部一些大公纷纷响应，他们也感到了唇亡齿寒的威胁，认为既然战争无法避免，那麽在别人的土地上打仗总要比在自己的土地上打仗好。

与此同时，速不台派10名使者到罗斯国，劝说他们不要出兵援救钦察人。罗斯大公不仅拒绝劝说，还杀死了蒙古使者，并歼灭了蒙古的先头部队。而後，由加里奇、乞瓦（今基辅）、切尔尼戈夫和斯摩棱斯克的王公们率领的8万罗斯大军，沿第聂伯河而下，准备与钦察军队在亚历山德罗夫邻地霍蒂萨附近集中会合。

看到情况有变，哲别、速不台一方面遣使到里海东请求术赤率部驰援，另一方面以一部兵力与罗斯联军保持接触，而主力不战引军东退，等待援军。不久术赤援军到达，哲别、速不台二将率蒙古军与联军隔迦勒迦河对峙。

罗斯联军以为蒙古军不敢战斗，於是不待乞瓦王公到来，即纵军急追，一路上也确实未遇大的抵抗。初战的胜利，使罗斯联军产生了轻敌思想，他们仗着人多势众，主动向蒙古军队发动进攻。

蒙古军见罗斯联军来势凶猛，於是退而不战，并诱使他们进入到了位於两山之间的迦勒迦河东岸平原。狂傲的罗斯联军没有想到，此时映入他们眼帘的是整齐排列的蒙古骑兵方阵。山谷中虽寂静无声却充满杀气，罗斯联军与蒙古军队的决战开始了。

蒙古轻骑兵先用密集的弓箭和骚扰战术将罗斯联军的阵形拖散，然後向罗斯联军薄弱的两翼发动猛攻。战斗很快变成了屠杀，罗斯联军的皮甲被蒙古军队的强弩轻易地穿透，蒙古的快刀和长枪也成了罗斯联军的克星。由於缺乏机动和统一的指挥，罗斯联军很快被蒙古骑兵穿插分割成无数的独自为战的小方阵。钦察军队无法抗击蒙古军队的强大攻势，首先溃退。由於阵形已散，再加之各公国军队之间的号令不一，罗斯联军也很快被蒙古士兵杀得七零八落，溃不成军。到了黄昏，只剩下零星的抵抗还在进行，罗钦联军中的贵族几乎全军覆没：6名大公战死，约70名侯爵被杀。

罗斯和钦察联军被打败後，仓皇溃逃。在逃过第聂伯河後，罗斯联军毁掉了所有船只。他们的这一举动阻挡了蒙古军队渡河，也使得他们侥幸逃过一劫。留下来的乞瓦王公困守乞瓦营地三天后，被允许体面地投降。然而蒙古人违背了不杀俘虏的诺言。夜间，被鲜血染红的草原上升起了篝火，乞瓦王公们被捆绑在地上，上面覆以木板，成千的蒙古人在木板上载歌载舞。在蒙古人的欢声笑语中，乞瓦王公们悲惨地结束了自己的生命。

花剌子模 = Khwarezm... at uzbekistan and kazakhstan.

All those areas are controlled by "barbarians".. nomadic turkic tribes in central asia. Mongool empire started from mongolian plains before sweeping central and north asia first before finally advancing on southern song. That's why GJ was ok with helping molgols advance to central asia but switched sides when they planned to attack southern song.. since GJ himself is from song.

Thru this kenna cut off period, 黃蓉 got caught by 歐陽鋒 several times and she managed to escaped, and 郭靖 supposed to passed 歸雲莊 and found it razed to the ground in white ash...

黃蓉 Suggested to go there to translate the 九陰真經 for 歐陽鋒， and also 陸乘風 have also left the 莊園 。

She then uses the layout of 歸雲莊 which was based in 八陣圖 to escape from 歐陽鋒。out of his anger, he burnt the masion down.

黃蓉 tried to return to 桃花島， but 歐陽鋒 will be waiting , trying to ambush her and also she fallen ill without anyone caring for her and by her side.

Thus one chased the other runs for her life... All the way till 蒙古。

The fallen ill is when GJ failed to request Genghis khan to annul the betrothal even though he won a favour by winning the decisive battle. HR was heartbroken and she left GJ in mongolia.. then she kena illness in shandong and then kena caught by OYF again.

Chronology should be: HR escaped from OYF ==> fled to mongolia==> betrayed by GJ's failure to annul the betrothal==> left mongolia==> sick in shandong==> caught by OYF again==> GJ saved HR from OYF at huashan.
