from what i read from a comic book....could be wrong also....
Temujin gave GJ a sealed cloth bag.....he can only open after defeating n vanquishing Hua Le Zi Mo Empire.
Feeling something is amiss, GJ discuss this with his mum.
His mum, being good in embroidery.....nitpick the bag and true enough the secret message ask GJ to invade Song immediately.
GJ decided to take his mum to sneak away...unfortunately....Temujin knew GJ had already seen the secret message....so waylaid both of them.
Temujin held GJ mum as hostage and want GJ to invade Song.
Not wanting to put GJ in a difficult spot, Li Ping (GJ mum) on the spot commit suicide.
I drop a few tears when I read this part......
after winning at the battle and finally killing 完顏洪烈， 鐵木真 wanted 郭靖 and his two other son to lead charge southward to attack the song, and given to to them each a 錦囊 pouch containing instruction, but only to be open up for reference after post victory.
郭靖 Is a 宋人， and very against the idea of bringing war to 大宋， after witnessing the mass destruction of lives the war brings about, and the extreme cruetly of 鐵木真 and his army post war antics as to 屠城 total Annihilation of a city.
*One can reference to how cruel 鐵木真 , his sons and Mongolians in 元史記。
Upon reaching back to his tent ， hebtold his mum about the nect misson is wage full scale war with 大宋， his mum disagrees.
And thats when 郭靖 show forth the 錦囊 with火漆印。郭氏 suggested to open up and read but 郭靖 ponder over how is that possible to achieve it as the 錦囊 is secured by 鐵木真 火漆印。
Thats when 郭氏 tokd him she got excellent proficiency in needle work, that will allow her to unpick the end of one end and to sew it back 不留痕跡。
Amd in which she did and to their horror, the letter was about post war invading instructions, upon winning if they detect 郭靖 have any sense of reluctancy during war or disobeying of instruction they can execute him 殺無赦。
After knowing this their immediately forms the plan to leave the Mongolians camp and escape.
While 郭靖 went back to his tent to packing up some simple item, 鐵木真 guards arrived and told him 鐵木真 ordered for his arrest and that they have his mum in their custody.
Thus 郭靖 was attested, only to met with his mum at the khan tentage.
鐵木真 ordered for 郭靖 to have his head chopped, and 郭氏 interceded and asked to speak to 郭靖 persuading him to have a change of heart.
鐵木真 Granted the requests.
郭氏Then hold 郭靖 and walk away to one side and in mandarin (note that 鐵木真 and all speak not a word of chinese) told郭靖 you are a 大宋子民 and never in your lifetime to invade 大宋。
and from her inner pocket she drew a dagger to commit suicide, so as 郭靖 have no 後顧之憂。
郭靖 took off with his mum body, and 鐵木真 ordered 哲別 and subsequently 托雷 to give chase.
哲別 Caught up with him and 郭靖 kneeled pleading to his first teacher to allow him to first give burial to his demised mother, and he will follow him back to meet 鐵木真。
But 哲別 dismount and gave 郭靖 his armaments consisting of his bow and arrows and 4 horses plus some taels of golds, instructing him never to come back. But 郭靖 that 鐵木真 will punish 哲別。
that's when loud 馬蹄聲 were audible and it was 托雷 arriving with 郭靖 親兵 and instead of arresting 郭靖 ， 托雷pass him gold for his escape. And escorted him twice as they cried.
they parted。
in truth and in 1st ,2nd and 3rd edition (latest) by 查良鏞 aka 金庸 , 郭氏 death was the because of 華爭， that day when 郭靖returned to the tent she was with 郭氏 but left to wait for 郭靖 outside tge tentage as 郭靖 have matters to discuss with his mother.
She overheard the mother and son oair is leaving mongol after opening the 錦囊 and she ran off to ask 鐵木真 to stop them , worried that she would never see them again.
But her action causes the arrest of 郭氏 and郭靖母子， which lead to the eventual death thru suicide of 郭氏。
In a letter to 郭靖 she wrote her regrets to have caused harm but bot specific, and forever to reside with 托雷 family and will not marry other. 黃蓉 Deciphered that in between the lines was 華爭 adnission of guilt to have bunknifed 郭靖。
I have not watch 49 & 50 yet, but if they changed even this part then this a very low point in this drama, lijewise how they change the fight at 醉仙樓 midnight fight triggered by 歐陽鋒 and a mysterious fog to be changed to next morning fight with 歐陽鋒 放 毒煙。
Sigh.
