Hi,i want to buy a 600D with kit(18-55mm). Should i buy the kit or should i go with this lens.Amazon.com: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens: CANON: Camera & Photo Don't have a high budget.

Most old birds will recommend that you start with a kit lens, then slowly add on a prime or two. The kit lens would be a good general walk around lens that helps you to pick up the functions of your 600D. Always good to know what your camera is capable of and upgrade only when you know that the camera is the limitation instead of your skills.

Prime lenses will help you to improve your composition skills as you will start to frame your shots before you even bring the camera to your eye after you get used to the 50mm field of view.

Hence yes, kit lens first, then later on when you have really maxed out the usefulness of the kit lens, upgrade.
