[NEWBIE] Need help for PC Spec

Hey guys, I'm new in this forum and would like to seek for some help for my PC. The processor, ram and motherboard are new, but the pc still running slow, I think maybe is the graphic card problem?

Here are my current spec:

CPU- Intel Core i5 7400 @3.00 GHZ Kaby Lake

Ram- 8.00 GB DDR4 Dual Channel @1066MHZ

Motherboard- MSI Z170A Gaming M7

Graphic card- 2017MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX750 Ti

Storage- 456 GB Wstern Digital

Thanks for quick response.

Takes around 2-3 minutes to start the PC, opening up multi software will makes the pc slow (not able to multitasks)

You can run Task Manager to see what application is taking up the CPU and memory resources.

i doubt there is such ram speed for ddr4. might want to check that out again and put to min 2133 or 2400mhz if your board allows you... 456gb WD, is it ssd or hdd? head to task manager, uncheck all unused software from starting up and see how it performs.. if still the same, slight chance it might be the hdd failure...

It is 1066mhz, if taken from CPU-Z because need to X2 which is 2133.

1066mhz is before dual channel speed. 1066 x 2 = 2132 (or 2133 for round up), means he is using 2133mhz ram

Depends on your budget really.

Otherwise a GTX 1060 is a good choice

Agree with the rest, upgrading the hdd to ssd will really improve the boot time by a lot. Recently upgraded my 4th gen laptop to ssd and work as smooth as butter, faster than when I first bought it. As for the gpu if you intending to upgrade, gtx 1060 is worth looking at.
