Hey guys, need some help regarding a setup.

Currently using a benQ XL2430, monitor is connected via DVI-D to GTX 1060. Sound is via external 2 channel speakers, USB powered and connected to onboard sound.

I tried hooking up an android TV box to the monitor via HDMI input, video works flawlessly. Just need to switch input on monitor. How do I get sound from the TV box to play through the speakers as well?

Thanks in advance!

You need to go full HDMI and hope your 1060 has an HDMI in Port. HDMI from the box to your PC

Don't think I have a HDMI input on the 1060 but I'll double check when I get home later.

Edit: just checked online, no input for the Zotac AMP card 😓

Let me try it out tonight and see if it works... downside is that currently, I have headphones hooked up via front IO when I game. Might need to reconfigure the connections when I wanna use headphones.
