recently got a Asus P8Z77-V DELUXE mobo and Intel i7 3770k from the marketplace.

problem is, I do not know what kind of GPU, PSU or ram to go with this mobo and cpu combo.

saw a sapphire hd 7870 OC in the marketplace and was thinking of getting it but have no idea if it will fit.

also, what kind of ram is suitable? Most of the time I have more than 20 tabs opened, words, evernote, thunderbird, photoshop, dropbox opened. looking at 24gb ram.

For PSU I wanted to get something as efficient as possible, something that can power my computer but uses as little electricity as possible. I have no idea if a high wattage psu is better or lower wattage.

Any kind souls? :)

It will fit, but after reading your thread from a few days back, you don't seem to need the prowess of HD 7870. A GTX 750 Ti will serve you adequately.

Value series RAM will do fine. Try out 16GB of RAM, which should be overkill already. Get more only if deemed inadequate.

And you should aim for a PSU that operates at 50% wattage on 12V rail most of the time, i.e. a system with typical load of 250W should get 500-550W PSU, as PSUs typically work at their best efficiency at mid mark.
