mad game on Monday night, show plenty of heart and got good argument if we didn't get that red card, we could have beaten Liverpool.

in other positive news, looks like we getting a new striker in Nick Woltemade for a rumoured £69m including add-ons. this 1 came out of the left field as I don't think we had any media links to him and rumour was Bayern was pursuing him. now just need another striker and resolve that Isak situation and we would have had a really good window and season to look forward to!

Would've easily beaten LiVARfool.

They had to depend on a lucky deflection for the first goal and a kid with essentially an open goal (due to 10 men) to net them the winner.

haha, we won the battle but lost the war?

1st 2 games of season we played well and definitely good enough to win. looking forward and hopefully we pick up our 1st win this weekend at Leeds!

Oh well, at least we got the trophy last season. They were lucky we didn't have a proper striker to play in the first place lol

Should be a win considering how Arsenal thrashed them and probably a debut for Woltemade!

3 at the back was... questionable by Eddie.

Dreadful game but we move on with clarity as the window finally closes soon.

Looks like we got W&W upfront!

Wissa coming in for rumoured £55m

quite a bit overpay for a 29yo with 1-2 year left on his contract but another way of looking at it is the Isak sale money brought us 2 quality strikers!

Let this be an expensive lesson to PIF, when Brentford wanted only 40M early on in the window

But needs must, I suppose

as the window closes and dust settles, in the end I think we had a good window. got more quality squad depth (I think we have at least 2 options in all positions) to prepare for all the games coming up. PSR/FFP also shouldn't be a problem in the near future considering we only spent around £100m.

hopefully we settle the CEO, sporting director soon and we can start planning for future transfer windows to avoid this kind of window again

main 1st team ins/outs;

In

Anthony Elanga
- Nottm Forest, £55m
Aaron Ramsdale - Southampton, £4m loan fee
Malick Thiaw - AC Milan, £34m
Jacob Ramsey - Aston Villa, £43m
Nick Woltemade - Stuttgart, £69m
Yoane Wissa - Brentford, £55m

Total - £260m

Out

Lloyd Kelly
- Juventus, £20m
Sean Longstaff - Leeds, £15m
Martin Dubravka - Burnley, £2m
Alexander Isak - Liverpool, £130m

Total - £167m

Net spend - £93m
