The victim developed depression and suicidal thoughts. She was later admitted to the Institute of Mental Health. In his remarks, Judge Tham stated Fang knew what he was doing and took advantage of the teen's emotional vulnerability. The judge noted Fang's attempts to manipulate the victim caused her additional harm.
