MNC, you have to keep pushing then he will remember. that is why the main reason i do not buy from him anymore. not that i don't want to support him but his standard need to go up before i consider.

don't dare try VP

Go try lah.
Their online service very good.
And prices usually better for casing plus got free delivery for over $100.
Only thing is they accept cash on delivery payment only.

I can vouch for videopro as well - I've ordered parts from them on at least 4 separate occasions when their prices were comparable to or cheaper than other SLS stores. They've pretty much always called up to deliver by the next day.

Nope. Strictly DDR3L. Unless u can get that DDR3 RAM to work at 1.35V. Coz Skylake only deals with 1.35V from DDR3L and 1.2V/1.35V from DDR4. Feeding a 1.5V/1.65V DDR3 RAM to a Skylake processor will not work.

For that mobo, it supports DDR3/DDR3L, none for DDR4. So a normal DDR3 will work. Tried on a B150m itx mobo. If B150 can work, im sure a H110 can work as well.

So you got the normal DDR3 from Lazada? I see that they've refreshed with new DDR3L stocks. :s12:

I will work now doesn't mean it will not do harm to the IMC on the long run. :o

Googled. But still pretty confused cos Intel stated that skylake can only use ddr3l or ddr4. Ddr3 WILL power, but may spoil the computer in the long run.

In any case, to be safe, I'll just get the L variant. 4 usd more nia. ☺️

GA-B150M-D3H - NO
GA-B150M-D3H DDR3 - YES

U shld really learn how to use google... Info is all there le.

DDR4 should be a better choice. Coz DDR3L is considered rare in the market that is saturated with DDR3 (non-L). Next time need to replace RAM still need to be held hostage by the rarity of DDR3L. DDR4 should get more common as time passes.

See his problem on other thread...

But if you are looking at Core i5-4460 + ASRock H97 Pro4 @ $420, i rather you consider Skylake Core i5-6500 + Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H @ $450. Intel HD Graphics 530 is way more powerful than HD Graphics 4600 and already hovers performance within AMD A8 and A10's R7 iGPU.

I think it's too late now.

I have bought 16GB Kit DDR3.
Skylake core and LGA 1151 support DDR4, isn't it?

Ddr4 is certainly the memory to go for, but isn't it restricted to x99 boards? And the price... It's unreal. Damn.
Yes, but there's nothing he can do unless he sells his 16GB kit away. :s22:
Loss incurred may likely not make up for the worthiness of DDR4.

If you haven't settle, go for DDR4....
Single stick and dual channel kit DDR4 has already been made available for Skylake so you don't need to go for those daylight robbery quad channel kits for X99 platform...

Restricted with something called money.

(Best part, I spent 300 on SSD. LOL) I'm given 1100SGD to build a com, with monitor, keyboard mouse etc. (no gfx needed, and must be Intel core i5 wor). so far if everything goes smoothly, I'm just a tad below the budget.

Actl he can just keep the ram. He will probably use it in the future.

Go with Haswell then. Almost identical performance for 3/4 the price of Skylake counterpart.

What SSD did you bought (that cost so much)?
