nothing much honestly, i would think the most popular thing is to check your ezlink card balance.
Technology yes. But if you are user of Xiaomi, they are only selling phone with NFC from this year!
Also if you want to use it as a e-payment eg credit card. You need the new NFC. The old standard cannot work.
