university of adelaide

Ive been to the various university to get to know more about the program they offered.

The recent program preview i went too was Ngee Ann-Adelaide education centre. I realized that it is not a franchise or distant learning program. It is actually a partnership between Ngee Ann kongsi and the university of Adelaide. NAK manage the non-academic matter (Subsided fee, classroom facilities etc) while the university manage the academic matter (Exam, course material, lecturers) Oh and they belong to this group call 'The Group of 8' in Australia. Very similar to the ivy league?

I was interested in their bachelor of commerce (because of my business background :p) the good thing is, you can finish the program in 1 year!! so fast! lol oh and they said that this program cater to students who are come from the school of business front the local polytechnics. Thats why they are given 50% advance standing. So instead of doing 24, they just need to do 12 modules!

The lecturer fly in to Singapore to teach and fly back after the intensive. and they have this exchange program/summer school. but i cannot remember the full details.

As for UOL, the lecturers are majority Singaporean and it is fully exam based. They teach in the lecture hall for each lesson.

From my understanding, they have program preview every alternate Sat.

I think thats all i can share...

I think it will depend on your choice of industry that you would want to focus in! :)

There's a lot to consider...the reputation of the university and the course that you are interested in. The cost to take up the degree might be a concern also. :)

Towards the end, it is the degree certification matter. Choose the universities wisely, Uol, rmit or uni of adel are not bad universities
