yeah, the thing is, her post did have influence on voters, if not there wouldn't be so many comments and likes. her page is also registered as an official campaigning platform. posting anything on it is counted as campaigning.

The crux now is whether their comments constitute 'election advertising' as deemed by the elections department. I predict nothing will happen to both.

TPL's comment will not be considered so for obvious reasons, and the same for nicole as they wouldn't want to stoke the flames of emotion which are already blazing huge.

PAP has about 65%-70% chance for Marine Parade, so they have no incentive risking votes elsewhere out of outrage over perceived victimisation of nicole.

Furthermore, going down this track is very likely going to dig out more worms for other candidates (for both sides). PAPs would want to get this over and done with minus these unforeseen variables in the equation..

agree. 1 party keep shifting goalposts, opposition score a few own goals, smear campaign. etc. entertaining though, but think pap is guilty for contributing most to make our politics a joke.

I think NSP should forget about this... the comment by TPL was probably a politically motivated one, but its very hard to prove that she was canvassing for votes with that comment. Better to let it rest, kicking up a big fuss might make them look bad instead.

Only say no election advertising lei. Dun think telling ppl what time u voting and where u going is considered advertising?
