That's because you simply do not see the big picture. What matters is the residue effect after all this.

Whether she used her personal account or grandma's account is inconsequential and quickly forgotten. However, that she was transparent and accountable is a trait which will be entrenched in people's mind for a long time. It is exactly the opposite of what citizens are condemning the government on. It becomes a reflex in their assessment of her. Just like it is now a reflex in the people's assessment that TPL is useless.

Just two days after the opposition Workers’ Party claimed victory in Aljunied GRC at the general election, reports are surfacing all over the internet that the town council seems to have suspended its services.

It has also been rumoured that certain town council contracts have been terminated, and that Residents’ Committee (RC) signboards have been taken down in certain areas of the GRC.

The town council was previously chaired by Madam Cynthia Phua, who was one of the five PAP Members of Parliament for Aljunied GRC who lost their seats on the May 7 election.

One Aljunied resident, going by the online nickname “handy”, said in a post on the Channel NewsAsia forum that the rubbish in his area had not been cleared since Sunday.

i was there to meet a fren twice last week. In fact I found it to be cleaner than PAP wards like woodlands.

What I see so far is she is just a better talker than TPL. And I have SEEN and KNOWN alot more pple who are her age range who are far better than her. She is nothing exceptional, except her willingness to step forth into politics.

And it is OBVIOUS, that she started off the initiative herself. Without first discussing with the party. This is not an assumption.
