Nightmare with HP Support contract

Has anyone have face issue with support contract with HP.
I have purchase a extended service with HP recently, due to the HP split X 2 unit I have, has encounter a lot of issues. I have sent the unit to HP service center for repair for more than 5 times and each time wasted a whole day.

Hence, I brought the very expensive extended warranty (MYR 187) for a years after my standard warranty expired. But, when my screen is crack, HP give me a quotation which are 5 times the market price. MYR 1150, which is 40% of new laptop.

I can find part in ebay that cost me less than MYR 200, I have confronted HP regarding this. HP threaten if I don't used their overprice part, the extended warranty for the whole LCD part will be void. Horrible HP.

Anyone has any idea to counter HP on this matter? HP extended services (HP care-pack) are totally not worth it. Horrible

Do note that whether under warranty or not, cracked screen is not covered under manufacturer defect.

All normal warranty and extended do not cover crack screen. We got a Toshiba laptop screen cracked and was quote a price of 1100. Though still under warranty, it does not cover crack screen. It covered only manufacturer defects and hardware issue.
