Nikon D5300 vs Canon EOS 700D

Want to ask the experts here?
Understand that there are beginner, mid range, pro range camera and EOS 700D belong to beginner range, where does D5300 stands?

Which is better buy? and what is the pros and cons?

D5300 is the equivalent of the 700D.

Which is better is dependent on your preference. People here will steer you towards what they like instead of what is your preference.

Pros and cons are always there for each camera, it's how you overcome and accept the camera for what it is and what it can do.

Neither are a better buy than the other. Go to a shop, try them out, see which feels more comfy to you

I don't know about Canon but for Nikon D5300, the pros is the lightweight and swivel screen, cons is not enough physical buttons and have to use quick menu for settings. I prefer D7100.
