Nintendo manufactured enough consoles this time to deter scalpers. From what I see, in western countries you just need to walk in and buy a console. They had enough to cover preorders and walk ins. I believe they have been manufacturing since last year.

Hmm, that's not bad indeed. After currency conversion and consider the GST, that would more or less be the same as the US price (US price is always before tax). Still want to wait and see a bit though, not in any hurry.
