I am the opposite.Bought it for the third party games like xcx2 bayonetta etc.Never had an interest in Mario Zelda

cos if want to play 3rd party games, i will play on pc or ps4. cheaper and more powerful.

unless switch version got complete edition/ extra bonuses like disagea 5

your reason to play 3rd party games on switch should be portable ?

ya that's why I choose store collect but was surprise that Nintendo QC is so bad.

how did you check dead pixel on the spot? Curious....

During the setting up process the background is white. When it is showing the Nintendo sign most of it is red and I turn on the dark theme after the set up is done to check.

It is not the best way since it is not like those screen test app where the whole screen is a single color but it is the only way to do it on the spot.

Even 1 dead pixel can change? Quite strange a small screen that is 7” has so much problem. Never had issue with iPad etc

Nintendo's focus has never been product quality or the nitty gritty.

I watched a video about 3DS LL before, basically all batches have different screens some TFTs some not and the viewing is different for different screens. The color is not even calibrated for the screens so the top and bottom screens are different color temperature.
