If you bought a game from ZA eshop, when you go to USA eshop, the game will be reflected as purchased...Provided the game has the same SKU...

With regards to game released in Singapore, it can be European or USA version... don't worry about DLC or anything as you can always keep switching regions...try to search online for the specific games whether there is only one SKU or multiple SKU...For the one SKU game like Zelda, you can buy physical or digital copy from any region and the DLC from another region...
erm still abit confused, is SKU related to region or not related? :s13:

Think of it as different version of the game...One good example is Splatoon 2 which got 3 different version which is Japan, Europe and USA...If you buy physical or digital copy of the Japanese version, you can only participate in the Japanese Splatfest even if you set your region to USA or Europe...So if you buy the USA version, you cannot take part in the Japanese Splatfest even if you set your region to Japan...This is because nintendo sees it as 3 different games...

On the other hand, game like Zelda is only one version or one SKU...So you can purchase Zelda in Japan and buy DLC from USA or Europe...

U cant be serious . U made it sound like the original is bulky and heavy....

Edit: I just notice u have Not got the switch yet. Why not weight it yourself and then see if u need alternatives?

A bit weird. The idea of the switch is gaming on the go. So if you are on the go. Then you have to bring the dock there to play. Isn't it defeating the purpose? Even if the dock is small you still need the ac power, hdmi. To me it's a hit weird.

Well, i was thinking more along the lines of putting the dock at home and having a separate one thats ready to go for convenience sake.. Haha.

By the way, does the dock only work with the supplied AC adapter? Can it work with any wall charger that is capable of PD?

For anyone looking for a "portable dock", I'm using the Coov SH350 from Taobao. Costs about S$20. Can charge Switch as you use when plugged to the Nintendo adapter. I haven't monitored if it charges with my other PD charger. Thing to note will be that Switch must be "on (with display)" before you plug it into the dock. That way, it will switch to TV mode properly.
