Armors doest not break, only weapon.
You can scan it once per day.
The horse you can also tame in game.
One more thing, get the “twilight bow” from SSB Zelda amiibo
This is very helpful, you dont need any arrows for it and the range is very long (i mean VERY).
Remember, save first before you scan amiibos.... if you didnt get what you want just reload the save point and rescan again the amiibo until you get what you want.XD

Yes its random and all weapon does break depends on its durability.
But you can always get it once you re scan your amiibo

Twlight bow durability is 100. Can be more durability if comes with plus durability- means u can shoot 100 arrow or more before breaking

Wolf u can look for the 20 hearts amiibo code from nfc bank but wolf only useful at the start. Later u game u want to farm stuff in stealth , the wolf becomes a hindrance cos it scare or alert everything u going for lol. U eant to reflect guardian beam then the wolf go disturb and get killed by the beam cos guardian turn focus to wolf T.T ( yes i know u can give command stay on wolf but command break after u move off certain distance).
Horse can farm in game or from amiibo - i dont use horse 90% of the time cos u can teleport or need to climb stuff. But i find the motorcycle best lol( only obtainable after the main beast quest)

The drop rate is quite low....maybe only around 10%.
Sometimes it took me 20 scans before i can get the twilight bow.
But sometimes 2nd scan already can get....
