is there a way to fix the bloody wifi on switch? i have no issue with other electronic gaming gadget but i tend to get disconnect on switch when i play splatoon and mario kart.

i'm sitting like 10 meters across playing and will get disconnect, in between is just my tv set which does not have internet function.

i have changed my router from 2.4 to 5ghz and set dns to 1.1.1.1, not using google as it may lag sometimes. is switch IPv4 or IPv6?

i download the app on my android phone to check the band thingy to see which frequency is used less and and change the ip address in switch as well. i'm using myrepublic.

i'm quite frustrated with the lousy switch wifi situation now. i know the one solution is to buy ethernet port for my dock, but i play in handheld mode most of the time. so i do not know what to do anymore.

any advice?

Me too. Does not affect me that much since I don't play online but I noticed the connection dropping a lot there past 2 weeks. I thought it was just me.

I got DC from splatoon battle as well.
Was thinking issit my Aimesh network affecting the connection.
My WiFi signal was supposed to be very strong but out of a sudden will drop connection and then auto connected again.
Luckily not very frequent if not really vomit blood.

Anyone know where is a good place to get the console? Online or physical store with good deals? I read the last few 20 pages sound like everyone talking about accessories.

First time buy such console don’t know where to start. Long ago I start searching at Funan. Prefer come with local warranty

Anyone knows where to buy Nintendo Switch certified USB to type c cable for portable charging like charging the switch without using the AC adapter. Nintendo says that the cable should have 56k Ohms resistance. So anyone knows where to find this magical cable?

I an using the usb c to c cable from xiaomi 45w power adapter. Included in the package. So far ok.

Is there any risk if not using cable with specific specification.

Else u can try choetech usb-if certified cable. But more expensive 😓.

This is directly quoted from Nintendo Japan FAQ
According to the guide, using a USB-A to USB-C charging cable is fine as long as it has a 56K OHM resistor. This will ensure that the power draw will be kept stable, thus avoiding any damage being brought upon the Switch’s battery. The official charging cable that comes with the Switch Pro Controller and Joy-Con Charging Grip meets these specifications exactly. If you don’t have either of those peripherals, you can buy this official cable on its own from Nintendo of Japan’s online store. It costs 1,296 yen (or $12.17 USD).

Using the same adapter and cable. Only USB C to A needs to be 56kohm compliant
