anyway just curious, Switch is supposed to be Wii U's successor, and 3DS is supposed to be another product altogether. Meaning to say shouldw e not expect to see games like pokemon being released on switch? As in besides series like pokemon rumble/pokken.

Just wondering how will the game release in future like, since Wii U isn't a portable system unlike the Switch.

Cuz sold out mah. See my initial post below.

Buy the 200 dollar wogi voucher at 160 (Do it fast! They just restocked. My experience is that the voucher will be sold out in half an hour or so). Apply it to the $469 Switch and remember to checkout with Shopback. Final damage shld be around 415+.

Personal view, if switch is successful than 3ds will stop .

Since nintendo have consolidated all their resources together.

They will still support 3ds for now , maybe for 1 more year. till they are comfortable with switch sales .

my take is that Nintendo will not give up the 3DS market.

nothing in the market comes close to it at its price point. it is jus way too much to give up. (closest is smartphone) + unique gameplay.

and game development is cheaper on 3DS I think...

even with the poor initial sales, with the right price and the right games + poor VITA support from Sony, all the problems were fixed.

we will probably see 4DS.:s13:

Without the coupon you can still get $15 off with the citibank coupon code, and stack with liveup 10% rebate and shopback 1.5%. I did that and paid $454, got back $45.40 lazada store credit from liveup, $6.81 from shopback, so works out to about $402

My above price did not factor in the liveup rebate. In that case, the $415 and $397 earlier will work out to about $372.1 and $356.1 after the liveup rebate :s13:.

Don't think so, someone else mentioned liveup rebate will only be after the wogi voucher, shopback will be the same to. So the rebates will be based off $269 ($469-$200 wogi voucher), equals $26.9 and $4.03
So total using voucher is $469 - $40 - $26.9 - $4.03 = $398.07
Only slightly cheaper than without voucher

My bad, forgot that liveup rebate is only for amount paid during checkout. For Shopback, you can actually get 3% instead of 1.5% for electronic. Just create a new Lazada account.

I signed up for a new lazada account, but only got 1.5%, I think it's because I "purchased" the liveup trial before that so it's not counted as new account.

I have a feeling the Switch would be the console that Nintendo is going to throw alot of pass Wii U big titles that did not sell well because of the console.

we have already seen 2 port from Wii U already , MK 8 and the coming Pokken.

Here's hoping we will see more original / new titles from the upcoming E3.
