Just completed botw, thinking of what game to play next. Have shortlisted the following:
1) shovel Knight
2) birth of Issac
3) lost heroes

Anyone has played either of these 3 can give some comment please

Havent heard of birth of Issac and lost heroes. Have all 3 games if you are referring to Binding of Isaac and Has Been Heroes . Depends on which game genre you prefer...you wont go wrong with either BOI or Shovel Knight. Binding of Isaac is a rogue-like twin stick shooter while Shovel Knight is a retro style platformer.

If you are looking for something challenging (or rather punishing ) then go for binding of Isaac. It can get really addictive but prepare to die often (maybe 10x as often as Dark Souls and 100x as often as BOTW ). Many ppl dismissed this game because of the art style and made the mistake of not giving it a try. Shovel Knight is a old school platformer with cleverly-designed levels. It's like Castlevania meets Megaman (but you might find the game too easy if you grew up playing Megaman from the NES series). Took me only 2 days to 100% the game with minimal effort.

Ermm I notice this probz not in gamez.. but when i am registering account using the pro-con to type words.. when i wanna move left or right it will jump up or down.. the sales also realise & and agreed that there is a probz.. but found the same issue in the new controller..

Just wondering, did the sale staff really change your Pro-Con? if the problem insist on the replacement ... did he/she tried to give you another pro-con beside from the 1st time he/she replace your faulty Pro-con?

Yep.. I saw him took out a new one & gv mi.. he offer to let mi try a new one.. but he say most likely a batch issue.. so I nv try again.. I might have to call distributor to check since I got 3 mths warranty..

I saw this another game that reminds me of megaman, shall check the store later for it's name


Found the game, it's called mighty gunvolt, looks like a megaman rip-off but I always enjoyed megaman game

Kamiko looks nice too and with that cheap price tag I may just decide to get it

I don't like the art style, find it very ugly. But more importantly, I find the art style hinders gameplay. If you look at any screenshots of Binding of Issac, you will see that Issac and the enemies are prominently shown, with thick black outlines. Everything else is very faint, blurred into the background. This includes blood stains on the floor and such, and also things like rocks that basically form walls that you cannot pass through or shoot through. Because all these 'background' objects (like the rock walls that are critical to gameplay) and 'decorations' (like the blood) are all blended together and very faint, almost invisible, you can't easily tell them apart. Not to mention that the color scheme is very limited, making these blobs of stuffs indistinguishable. (iirc it is randomly generated, there is no memorising of room layouts either.)

Sure, if you play a bit more, you will get used to it and learn to read it, nonetheless it's still a hindrance to the already punishing gameplay. In this age when ppl debate about a few frames per second, when you have to run around in a small room full of enemies avoiding their attacks, not being able to see the walls that block your way (and blocks your bullets) is a much bigger issue in the graphics department.

Meaning if i were to give or sell my switch away, I can keep my digital games for future downloads for future switch right?

Deactivate your account (eshop setting) b4 selling the Switch. Reactivate the account on a new Switch and you can play the previously purchased games. Only 1 Switch can be used to play the purchased game so no way to "share" your digital games.

You may keep your digitally purchased games, but there is no way to keep your current saved files. There just isn't a function/hack to transfer/backup saved games at the moment. So be prepared to start games (digital or physical) all over again if you sell your Switch and buy another in the future.

Yes, surely there will be backup feature, to USB or cloud, added in the future (the Switch system is honestly incomplete and rushed to market), but if he sells his Switch now (along with the saved files on it), then future features are not going to help him

Anyway, that's also assuming the current design of Switch has the saved files encrypted with the user account only, and not with the particular console ID/serial number. If it's encoded with console serial, then future features might not work. Like only allowing restore of backup saves back to the same Switch, unless they have a transfer function where you need both old and new Swtich for it to transfer/convert.

"New" owner here joining in. Got the Switch in Mar from M1's promo but didn't really have time to play at all. Can anyone advise what capacity microSD card is required? What is it used for? For storing games only? And where do you guys buy your games? Currently I only have Zelda and 1-2 Switch.

Yes. Main purpose of sd card is to store digital download and your game screenshots.
I went for 200gb sandisk micro when qoo10 having sales for it. Maybe u can check it out time to time to catch it on sales. Think the lowest i saw is 80 bucks.
