Nintendo bringing arcade classics to Switch, starting with Mario Bros.

Nintendo has yet to launch its Virtual Console service on the Nintendo Switch, but the company is bringing some classic arcade video games to the console with its new Arcade Archives program, the company announced today during a Nintendo Direct presentation.

These downloadable titles will be Switch ports of arcade games from the 1980s. That’s different from the Virtual Console, which offers ports of NES games.

“These arcade games contain subtle differences that can’t be found in their NES counterparts,” Nintendo said in a news release.

60fps. that game too arcadey, will be damn irritating if it goes below 60fps



am i hoping for too much here?

if id Tech 6 engine can run well on Switch. we might be able to see future Fallout or Elder's Scroll games

Thanks but i dont wanna boot up the Wii U. Damn slow system and low resolution. After owning the Switch.. think of Wii U gamepad i damn sian 1/2. Will just play haxxxx version on PC at 4K 60 fps
