So which configuration is the most comfortable for you? Joycon on each hand, Joycon grip or pro controller?

The Joycons will not get charge at a certain high percentage of their capacity in order to avoid draining the console battery.

So to get a complete charge, they need to be docked to the console while the console is connected to power, and have to be on!

If you completely switch off the console, the joycon will not get charged.

My experience for sleep mode (without docking/usbc charge) - Joycon onli get charged after it falls below a % and will drain a lot of the console batt.

does your switch get a little warm during charging?
some of the question here is pretty embarrassing and laughable...

dude...EVERY mobile device will be a little warm during charging...

ipad, macbook, tablet, handphone....touch the the part where the battery resides and it will be warm........why is this even a question in this day and age..

next, some people will ask "my battery life takes a hit when i turn on screen brightness max and wifi on...is this normal?"

LMAO..

.

When I off my console and than dock it to charge , it will show the battery status for a while than off. TOP left corner .

So I believe even when u off the console it will charge both the switch and joy con.

Just like when u off your phone and charge , it will still charge , show the battery % or the charging icon for a while than goes blank.

when you do that, the moment you dock it to charge, it goes to sleep mode, not "powered off" you have to power it off once more while in the dock, this is where the Joy-Cons will not charge.

I pointed that joycon will not charged but the main switch console will still charge if u off it. Not both wont get charged. :s13:

Dunno. I juz pointing what I experienced becoz I left my joycon docked (switch was off) & it didnt get charged overnight.

Could more experts come out and clear the doubt about joycon charging.

Bought the Switch from Qishan.

Everything is working great. Dock is ok. No dead pixel. Joy con working fine. I'm impressed with the design of the Switch. Nintendo done a good job this time.

I think those problems on the internet are exaggerated. Its just that when every affected users posted on internet, it would seems to be a widespread problem. But its not because everyone else is enjoying the new console.

I'm very happy with the purchase. :)

jus becus u got no problem doesnt mean there is no problem
just like how u r not the victim of any crime doesnt mean there is no crime

if there is no issue or a few, it wun get so much traction since there r so many fanboys out there so there r obviously many batches with defects but the important thing is how nintendo are dealing with these

right now, they r saying there is no issues which is rubbish

Tempered glass didn't find any for sale, decided to hoot from aliexpress.

Though the shipping times seems long, in the meanwhile got a plastic one to cover.
