sure got email as proof of such practices. Suggested retail price doesnt mean retailers need to follow the price if I am not wrong.

wah really ah? so it comes directly from Nintendo Loh? hmm once I am done with Zelda I am thinking of selling the console.
I don't think directly from Nintendo just that maxsoft ownself mark up.

What i mean is for this particular scenario... selling switch with 2 bundled game. Nintendo cannot fault Maxsoft because Maxsoft did not bundle the game with the console.. the retailers did. Maxsoft only sell the bundle to retailer..they can choose not to sell them as bundle. :s13:

maybe it's time for retailers' right. all retailers to complain against the distributor. :s13:

the pushing blame to retailers is wrong leh. they machiam liked the most protected business. anything wrong = retailer

It's difficult for retailer.
All official Nintendo's stuffs is with Maxsoft.
If try to get from overseas, Maxsoft's price in most cases is still cheaper. I find Maxsoft price is usually quite competitive against import stuff except if there's supply problem with the particular item (launch of new hardware, amiibo).
Has anyone seen price of NES classic mini yet? Its MSRP is US$60, but somehow becomes S$180 here. :s13:

I can confirm coz my brother is in Japan and the only accesories he can find there are screen protector and the case for switch/joycon (based on the pics he sent me).
Console, pro controller, joycon charging grip, etc. are all out of stock at retail.
I expect this problem to continue until at least April/May.

Zelda really big sia.. really can slowly play..

Switch need more exclusive games.. third parties one.

I hope they can port red dead redemption 2.. but unlikely anytime soon I guess

Open world games are super awesome on the go.

That is impossible. Even their older game GTA V is only running at 1080p 30fps on the PS4. Porting this older game to Switch already prove to be impossible.

You can expect red dead redemption to run worse than GTA V. It's probably going to run at 900p 30fps on the PS4 and 1080p 30fps on the PS4 pro. To port this to Switch...we have to like play it at like wad? 480p 10-15fps? :s13:

from the way GTA 5 took off with mods, won't be surprised if RDR2 will go to PC as well. since both PS4 and Xbox1 are x86 architecture. porting shouldn't be too difficult. so for best experience. play on PC :s13:

as for Switch? no chance. they have to retool their engine for ARM. and the last Rockstar game to appear on Nintendo console was... Bully?

with BotW out in the wild now (see what I did there?), future open world games will be compared against it. lets see if RDR2 can hold up when it is released later this year.

Yeah. But because our prices are "inflated" now with the bundle with a bad game. Chances are they will swap zelda with mario kart fo the new bundle.

But if they switch (haha) 1-2 switch for a better game, its like a discount.
Not sure if that will happen though.

Also, when the 3ds had a price cut in the US, did we get a discount here or still same rrp?

The (original) 3DS got a hefty price cut quite soon because the vita was retailing at the same price and it lacked games + sales.
