I can only find 12 unique amiibos. I know the Guardian and Bokoblin are unique. As for the remaining 3 in BotW series, the dumps I found were repeats of previously released amiibos.

I still don't understand the amiibo thing. How is it useful?

Can use amiibo to scan in game daily to get free items/weapons/amours. If you are lucky can get those rare powerful weapons or unique amour sets. Doesn't affect gameplay. More for fun.

I bought mine from taobao, cheaper than the angmo e-commerce website.

Think there are 2 types of bundles for the N2 Elite. 1 with NFC reader and 1 without (can scan using NFC equipped android smartphones) or something like that.
