Haha. Long given up on VR.. Tried FPS several times but cannot last more than 30 mins before feeling damn sick. Must lie down in bed after kind.. weird cos i used to play Counter Strike in lan shops for hours on end with no problems.. why now unable to on console FPS?! Puzzling man.. you think playing on a high end gaming pc rig will make a difference? With higher frame rates, low latency, can adjust camera sensitivity, etc.

I think higher fixed fps + better frame pacing do help but I don't really have a high end pc to share my personal experience. Only running a last generation skylake 6700k +GTX 1080 pc. High end pc experience have to ask OP_Valkyrie liao. He is running 2x Titan XP with the latest processor :s13:

Skylake 6700k + gtx 1080 already pretty high end bro. Valkyrie's setup is way overkill. :D

You can get the Ravpower powerbank at US$39.99 with coupon code: RAVPB043. Seems like a good deal.

This is probably one of the best powerbank for the Switch. Remember that need to ship to US forwarding address and there is a new regulation to charge extra for loose battery shipping. I paid US$16 extra using comgateway. And the regulation also will not allow you to ship other items together.

Looks awesome. I did see one that was reviewed:

https://www.amazon.com/Portable-RAV...F8&qid=1491889336&sr=8-1&keywords=pd+ravpower

Not comparing the capacity but its ability to charge while playing.

Heres a google translated review:

"I invested nearly 5,000 yen until I met a convincing film, but this product was wonderful. There were no subtle scratches and floats on the edge of the glass, and there was no problem such as the formation of an air layer by heat later, which was perfect. Minus 1 is the price high, so you can have a good thing! It is super recommended to those who say."
I'm using this too, really hell of a good quality product.

My friend bought from japan in-store for me. $16 only.

Weird..third person view game shldnt hv such issue (wider fov etc). This issue shld occur more frequently for first person view game but even so.. its rare unless u seldom play those.

Some 3rd person game has terrible camera.
For me even original KH on PS2 was already very bad, especially Agrabah stage.
Play 1 hour I got sick for few hours.
I tried before playing FPS like Team Fortress 2 and CS, but the same thing always happen when I play so had to give up.
Nowadays only play 3rd person with wide or static camera view.

I feel ya mate. But CS was not a problem for me back then.. marathon sessions no problem. Weird that haven't been able to play other first person shooters ever since.

maybe its the frame rate and frame pacing.

or maybe have to sit further away from the TV or something. there is a reason why VR need to go at least 60-90fps in order to avoid motion sickness.

It depend. For me, even 3rd person view but if movement too fast and a lot of turning, I will get motion sickness also.

Am envious of those who can play all games without experiencing motion sickness. Lucky b******* :D

I take sbs bus also will get nausea if sit those seats that face opposite from the direction of the travelling bus.. fail siah. :o

I read up on this nausea thing. There's suggestion that eat ginger might help. I also don't like FPS. Perhaps skyrim is 1 of the few FPS that I can play but not for long hours. But nowadays so many games going for FP view or fast movement 3rd view....

Yet most peeps are still able to play em with no problems whatsoever. Just a pity I'm not one them.. :(

Yeah. That's why i'm contemplating investing in a high end gaming pc with specs sufficient to achieve high frame rate. Expensive risk to take though especially if i still suffer from nausea after blowing upwards of 3 grand. :s22:
