Doesn't seem worth it also after adding in shipping and gst. Warranty claim also troublesome.

Anyone cancel their pre-orders liao?

Donno how to react to Qisahn email.

by right switch 299 USD add Zelda also S$510.

Switch maybe S$40, means S$550. Now they sell 699,

1 switch they earn S$150, just from import.

Isn't zelda $59.99 usd? Round off $60

How you achieve $510?

Going by rough USD 1.5 should be ard $550+ Liao add switch in plus GST shipping etc about there.

It's just the 1,2 switch game now which most of us don't want.

Switch for 300 usd.
Zelda for 60 usd.
360 usd to sgd = $510 via optimal rate, google

It's just an estimate for me to know how much Maxsoft + shops are taking off us, by no means accurate.

Okay understand but unlikely they willl apply that exchange rate.

Per usual observation, definitely mark up abit.

As Long as it's still reasonable and not too far off, will still proceed to get it.

Let's see the final price from Maxsoft then since the bundle should be Nintendo initiative given how Hong Kong is facing the same situation as us

think if they wanna bundle, should have bundle only one game. now they bundled 2 games. and not much cheaper when compared to getting separately.

liked I said. it's as if they really don't want the console to sell.

charging money for 1-2-switch is outrageous. its a tech demo. which have been demo-ed during their event.

It's all about the money isn't it? Haha

Assuming the bundle and price are of what we have heard, then it may not sell well locally. Perhaps they are thinking, even if it doesn't sell well, there's always a later time to reduce the price.

So why not jack it up now and earn the die-die-must-play day-1ers' money to max first?

Squeeze it dry, till it flakes.

On a positive note, maybe it'll turn into an affordable and reasonable bundle. Never know, until they confirm everything.

now the thing is whether the bundle is setup by Nintendo themselves or our dear Maxsoft.

Or Maxsoft got no stocks so have to pick up from Hong Kong, so the B$ over there got transferred over here as well. No way Maxsoft will take on the risk and separate the bundle up.

remember Hong Kong authorized retailers are doing this bundle. so there is totally no surprise if this is instructions from Nintendo directly.

we must be some third world country that they have to go through the trouble to come up with such bundle.

and then there are people liked me that do not wanna own any hardcopy of Switch games. :s13:

Instruction is from Nintendo Hong Kong, if local bundle as what my insiders told me at $699 with zelda and 1,2 switch. I will drop it and purchase a jap set estimate around $530 with shipping and get zelda around $70 to $80. I'm not willingly to pay $80 for 1,2 switch game which I know I would not be playing it

http://geekculture.co/nintendo-switch-prices-in-singapore-will-potentially-suck/

Maxsoft manages the distribution of Nintendo products in Singapore, and if history repeats itself, we are looking at a significant price hike as compared to overseas.

The New Nintendo 3DS XL cost S$329 back in 2015, when Amazon sold it for US$199 (S$280), albeit without warranty. Even in the Wii days, bundles were forced upon consumers with an eventual price of S$649 instead of the supposed S$499 price point. This led to an influx of Korean Wii consoles that were flashed to a US interface and were sold at a significantly lower price.

Nintendo fans in Singapore will probably soon grapple with this reality. Our best guesstimates place the Nintendo Switch at a potential price of S$550 – S$600, we can only hope for the consumers’ sake, that does not come to pass. And, we have yet to factor in accessories still.

some history of Nintendo launch price in Singapore lol

It's not going to hurt the Switch sales. Fact is they cannot produce enough to sell to everyone that wants one. It's just not physically possible to make enough for initial launch. The Wii was in short supply for 2 full years.

Supply is much lower than demand. The Switch sale will be limited to what they can produce, and whatever quantity they produce will all be sold out, it wont hurt their sale cos they cant sell something that they cant produce. It will only hurt their sale if the product is bad or not popular, in which case they will want to ship out as many as possible to those who pre-order cos not many will want to buy after that (Wii U anyone?).

If it's Nintendo HK, it's not aligned with what Reggie said in an interview with Gamespot.

WTF? We are special, is it?
